Poultry raising practices

Chicken and duck eggs are incubated and hatched right here on the farm. Once our chicks and ducklings are old enough to be safe on their own, they are released to be completely free-range with 24x7 access to shelter, food and water. They eat an all-natural diet of insects, grass, wild flowers, and supplemental organic feed. The Pekin Ducks do not brood or raise ducklings on their own, so our ducklings are fostered by our staff or our hens. The ducks have free access to three large tubs of water, cleaned on a daily basis. They love to swim and splash! It's their greatest joy in life!
